As one of the key elements in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), acupuncture has been revered as an efficient healing art for over 2500 years. It includes herbalogy, physical therapy, dietetics, exercise and remains consistent with traditional Chinese principles and philosophies that emphasize balance and harmony. Acupuncture therapy promotes health and healing based on the concepts of ˉvital energyˇ and ˉenergetic balanceˇ. We believe that when the energy flow known as Qi is disrupted due to trauma, poor diet, medications, stress, or other conditions, pain or illness may occur as a consequential result.

Much like its counterpart of conventional Western pharmaceutical drugs, herbal medicine generally works within the body via the same chemical make-up. The main difference is that herbs are prescribed to treat the root and manifestations of the disease, rather than simply focusing on symptoms from which the patient may be suffering.

Herbal Medicine is most effective and has fewer side effects when used to facilitate healing in chronic illnesses. A profound transformation in the patientˇs health is apparent over time when individualized and skillfully selected herbs are prescribed and taken accordingly, usually internally as decoctions (herbs boiled in water). However, doctors of Traditional Chinese Medicine can also prescribe herbs in the form of pills, powders, syrups, soaks or plasters (for wrapping).

As one of the oldest and most effective forms of oriental therapy, Moxibustion, a technique originated in China and introduced to Japan more than a thousand years ago, is the application of heat to acupuncture points throughout the human body. Two different types of moxibustion have developed overtime: direct and indirect. Japanese Acupuncturists adopted both methods but prefer to use direct moxibustion because of its effectiveness, while direct moxibustion has almost disappeared entirely from Chinese Acupuncture techniques.

By burning moxa, an herb derived from drying the underside of the mugwort plant’s leaves (part of the chrysanthemum family), heat is created in both methods. Thereˇre great variations among the grades of moxa available for therapeutic practice. Japanese moxibustion uses the highest grade of pure moxa possible, which allows for its direct application on the skin.

Cupping, an ancient technique used in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) for selected health conditions, is believed to have great and positive influences for improving the blood and energy flows in the human body. Glass or bamboo cups are pre-heated and placed directly on the skin with suction created from the vacuum. However, cupping should not be confused with the percussive technique in Swedish massage called “cupping” or “clapping.” Originally referred to as “horn therapy” in ancient China, cupping has a long history of usage in acupuncture practices and is often combined with the practice of bloodletting. Different variations of this special therapy have also been used in Japan, Turkey, Greece, France, Italy, and Eastern Europe.

Foot massage is one of the very popular cures to remove physical lassitude or to ease regional discomfort or pain, such as eyestrain, stiffness of neck or swelling of face and foot. Skillful foot massage relaxes and refreshes you in a short time.

Foot massage is a type of reflexology. Foot reflexology puts “pressure therapy” to practical use and aims at curing or preventing diseases by giving focused pressure to reflex points, certain massage centers, located in the sole.

It is well known that the nerve system is covering all our whole body, from the bottom of feet to the top of head, involving all vital organs on the way. A trained reflexologist has the ability to put pressure on different meridians or energy lines on the sole and side of the feet and to determine the cause of illness.

This time, we are pleased to offer foot reflexology for our all customers. We hope that our new service will improve your daily condition, and also your health for the long run.
